Casio Men’s Ana-Digi Electro-Luminescent Sport Watch

Casio Men's Ana-Digi Electro-Luminescent Sport Watch #AQ160WD-1BV List Price: $49.95 Sale Price: $25.95 Average Rating: ![]() I like the item, the wrist band was a little large for my wrist but the actual watch was worth the cost. You don't find this product in any store and if you find it, it so expensive. Here I was able to buy it the way I wanted it and for so reasonable price. Great value !! From the moment I opened the box, I just loved the look and feel of this watch. The only problem I have with it (along with alot of other reviewers) is the fact that the watch face is not crystal, it is plastic. This thing will scratch if you look at it the wrong way. I soon will not be able to see the hands on mine. I can't stress this enough, I scratched the face when I was putting my jacket on, and there were no buttons or snaps on my jacket. Anyway, other than the easy scratching, I love the watch. Get what you pay for I guess. Overall a great watch; only downside is that face of the watch scratches eaily; I am stuck with this until I decide to replace it; otherwise, appears to be great watch I gave this to my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. It ties together any outfit, casual or more formal. Also, one of his favorite features is the light that turns on automatically as you lift your wrist to see the time. ![]() |
Casio Men’s Sports Chronograph Alarm 10-Year Battery Databank Watch
![]() |
Casio Men's Sports Chronograph Alarm 10-Year Battery Databank Watch #AW80D-7AV List Price: $34.95 Sale Price: $17.75 Average Rating: ![]() I bought this watch to replace an old watch from Walmart. It was a huge upgrade and I am very happy with the watch so far. There are many reviews outlining the pros so I will outline the cons that I have found. The biggest con I have found is the fact that although the case and band are said to be stainless steel, the part that holds the band to the case (with the tiny pin) is made of plastic. It has not broken for me yet, but it has broken many times on other watches I have bought. Another thing is the dial window. It is scratchable. These two issues are only noticeable if you play sports with it, which since it is a "sports" watch, you should be able to do. For casual use, this watch is perfect. It is a pain to set the analog time. Not a huge con since it only has to be done the first time and then twice a year after that (DST). The built in light is worthless. Luckily, 90% of the time you will be able to tell the time based on the glow in the dark arrows or there will be enough ambient light to tell the time. Also not another big con unless you live in a cave. Lastly, there are many plastic parts that make it look cheap, but for $21, it is cheap. For the very reasonable $25.00, this is a great watch. Lot's of functions and very light weight, especially when most watches like this are uncomfortably heavy. Band could be a little heavier duty, but again, that could make the watch too heavy. Very glad I bought it. The similarly colored hands and face make quick time telling more of a chore than it should be. Short version: don't buy this watch! Slightly longer version: don't buy any Casio if you ever want to replace the battery yourself. Long version: When I bought this watch, I was happy with it's appearance and function. However, after 1 week the watch died. I bought a new battery, replaced it, and it still didn't work. So, I called Casio support (https://www.casio.com/support/contactus/phonenumbers/). The woman asked me who replaced the battery. I told her I did. She informed me (very honestly) that since I replaced the battery myself, that it voids the warranty. However, I can try sending it in for repair, and just not tell them I replaced the battery. According to her, "nobody can change the battery except for Casio, not even a jeweler." Then, after I send it back in, they would write me back a quote. If I decided not to take the quote, it would still cost me $10 to ship the non-functioning watch back to me. Add in the $3-$4 to ship it to them in the first place, and it would cost me bare minimum a $3-$4 "disposal fee." Forget that. I'll just throw this $21.00 watch away. I got this watch yesterday and it is great so far. It has basic features, but it works perfectly. It's bit annoying to set the analog time, and it is definitely irritating the noise it make when you change functions, and I couldn't take it out yet. I would highly recommend it, especially for the price. ![]() |
Casio Men’s G-Shock Classic Digital Watch
![]() |
Casio Men's G-Shock Classic Digital Watch #DW5600E-1V List Price: $69.95 Sale Price: $36.00 Used From: $39.95 Average Rating: ![]() There is something too cool about g-shock watches that I had never encountered before owning one. I purchased my first g-shock watch at Wal-Mart last year in the discount bin for $24.00 (dw-6600). I have been really blown away by this watch since purchasing it, and wanting to buy another "G", while researching the matter, the dw-5600 always seemed to get great reviews. I ordered one thru Amazon.com, and it arrived the other day. This watch is not as thick as the dw-6600, and consequently, fits under shirt sleeves a lot easier. It doesn't make a statement like my other one, but I like the "understatedness" of this one. It is a pretty basic watch, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's easy to get wrapped up in all the different things that g-shock watches can do, but for a solid, no-nonsense watch that can take a ton of abuse (I wear it playing racquetball) this one is tough to beat. i recently bought this for construction work this summer and was looking for a simple tough and reliable watch.. from jack hammering, to digging ditches, to crawling through trenches, the most outstanding thing about this watch is that it withstood the mix of sweat dust and dirt and occasional stray hammer swings. furthermore, i've enjoyed being the official timekeeper for the firm, and how the watch looks better when covered in mud. so yes, this watch will make your work more fun. I've read all 71 previous reviews to this classic G-Shock DW5600E-1V (as of today June 28, 2009) and the most common words that are used to describe this watch are: 1) DURABLE. I've purposely dropped this watch from my second floor balcony directly on the concrete sidewalk below on the face of the watch. Guess what? Still kept on tickin'. Because the glass is just slightly below the protective G-Shock rubber/plastic, it cushioned the impact. I'm a FedEx Express courier and beat the living snot out of this watch and it stands up to the beating. 2) DEPENDABLE. Go to the most reliable website on accurate timekeeping, time.gov, plug in your time zone and wait several weeks...the time will only be but a second off. 3) COMFORTABLE. Honestly, you forget it's on your wrist. I wear it all the time. Buy it. Trust me, you WON'T be disappointed. I had a bad experience with a digital watch (bought a timex ironman). The band practically melted when i left it in my truck on a hot day. So i figured all inexpensive/digital wristwatches were the same. I had seen G-shocks, and thought they were too clunky, but needed an inexpensive beater-type watch, and after reading the rave reviews for this watch, figured to take a chance. After a few weeks of using the watch, I can now say it is my favorite watch to wear. I used to use a black monster Seiko as a daily wearer, but this has now taken its place. First, it isn't an automatic watch. No need for a winder, or to constantly be wearing it to keep accurate time. Second it is very comfortable, I forget I have it on most of the time. Third, it is cheap! As in very inexpensive, while still being a quality wristwatch. Fourth, it is pretty durable (or at least it seems to be) without too much added bulk. So to sum it up, I am very satisfied with the watch. Would I recommend it to someone i know? yes Note: I haven't read the manual, and hate reading manuals in general. I am sure there are tons of features this watch has, but am too lazy to figure them out. I just need a watch that keeps time, shows me the day, time, and that's it. This is by far (for the money) the best watch purchase i have ever made. Normally I don't care much for digital watches because generally analog watches look better and show the passage of time better with their hands but after doing some research I decided to buy a classic casio g-shock digital for it's functionality and reputation for being a rugged dependable watch. The designers of this watch definitely put a great deal of thought into it. Aside from it's obvious g-shock ruggedness it's very accurate only being a few seconds off from my atomic watch at any given time. It even displays the time in the small box in the upper right when it's in stopwatch and countdown timer modes. I use the repeat function on the countdown timer when I do interval training. The light works great at night. I understand the watch is popular with U.S. Military Special Operations Forces and is also flight certified by NASA whatever that means. It's not a great looking watch but it's functionally elegant and looks like a retro '80's digital watch. Highly recommended for a sports watch! ![]() |

Tommy Hilfiger Men’s Navy Bezel Watch
I'm very glad I chose this watch. It's so cool!
I don't mind the weight cuz I do weights in the gym so I'm used to it.
For those who want this adjusted, go to a watch service center; though I was able to do it myself cuz I saw how it was done. Carefully use a pin to push-down the rods binding a chain (ones marked with an arrow at the back). That's how to detach a chain. Then reconnect the watch, and reinsert the rod, and push it into place. NOTE: Be sure you don't damage the watch & its parts and you don't hurt yourself. Pushing the rods will require precision force.
It's a break from all watches from the past with dull colors. I'll still use my previous watch for rugged times, and reduce chances for this watch to get scratched (I tend to scratch my watch in narrow places). For the office, travel or parties, I'll definitely wear this.
Movado Women’s Amorosa Watch
I treated myself and bought this watch and I am not really a "watch" person BUT I LOVE this watch! It is so stunning and elegant and beautiful. Even the jeweler when he took out some links for me to wear it told me it was a beautiful watch. Also, the price you cannot beat!!! It's fantastic. Plus, it's a Movado, which I've never owned before but it is worth it. With the look, the fact that it's a Movado, THE PRICE, and the fact it is so beautiful, I recommend it highly to anybody considering buying it for themselves or for their wife/girlfriend/friend. By the way, it doesn't show how it looks on the back but it is like a bracelet/watch so to speak, and on the backside, there is a clasp. Very well made. Excellent craftsmanship. Beautiful watch!!! EXCELLENT price!

Customer Review: I purchased the watch advertised as a men's watch. Later they changed it to a womens's watch. I complained and they changed it back to a men's watch. A few days later they changed it back to a women's watch. Who knows what this watch is - its a nice watch, but amazon should fire someone in their advertising department.
Invicta Women’s II Collection Limited Edition Diamond Chronograph Watch

Invicta Women's II Collection Limited Edition Diamond Chronograph Watch #4718
Amazon Price: $195.02
Customer Review: I have been searching for a nice everyday watch at a reasonable price for quite some time. Did a good amount of research on pricing and designs before deciding to buy this particular Invicta watch. Read most of the prior reviews and have the following thoughts:
1. If you are looking for a thin and dainty watch, this is not for you (the dial is 33mm as described). I was looking for a sizable watch that can make a statement so was quite happy when I opened the box - I have very small wrists and probably have to remove 7-8 links, but still liked the look. That said, the pearl dial and other accents makes it quite feminine(contrary to other reviews).
2. If you are looking for a diamond watch that would blind your eyes with sparkle, this is not for you. The "diamonds" on this watch, as expected for any watch that are
3. This watch is not Patek Phillipe, and one shouldn't expect this watch to be a Patek quality for this price range. However, it is a solid timepiece with relatively reputable watchmaker. And you can't beat the warranty package. I was looking to spend $600-$800 for a mid-range watch, but decided on a more value based purchased that I hope would last me a couple of years before I can get my Patek.
4. The watch was functioning fine when I received it, I didn't have a chance to play around with it (see below), but will post an update here in 2 - 3 months.
All in all, if you are considering this watch, do your research and figure out what you want first before your order and know that you will not like your order if you are looking for a tiny watch that will blind your eyes with firy diamonds.
I would have given this watch a five star, but had to give a four star as when I received the watch the letter "C" was missing from the phrase "Swiss Chronograph". Now I know I'm not paying full price for this watch, but I also don't want a watch that looks like a really well-made fake either. I was quite bummed as I was looking forward to wearing this. I'll returning it today but will be ordering another one once it's processed. Will keep everyone posted.

Customer Review: I love this ginormous watch.
I say this to people, "What time is it?" and I hold up the watch to their eyes and say, "Time to get a bigger frackin' watch!"
Love the watch, it's so, "Mine is bigger than yours" type of watch.
Wonderful!
